Me, Gio, Alex and Marko (you'll probably hear more about them in the future) will be hosting a workshop on "Arctic and sub-Arctic climate change impacts: an transdisciplinary perspective" during the upcoming Ecosystem Studies of Subarctic and Arctic Seas (ESSAS) Open Science Meeting.

Our workshop aim is to determine how well linked (or not) the North Atlantic and the North Pacific are in terms of the effects of climate change on marine ecosystems, the challenges for society, and the adaptation strategies that are in place or required. You can read more about it here.

The deadline for submission of abstracts to the ESSAS 2017 Meeting is Jan 30, 2017. However, if you only wish to attend our workshop, you only need to register to the meeting. You can register here.
